At K-911 Lost & Feral Dog Rescue, we are passionate about tracking and locating lost dogs, and giving feral dogs a second chance at life. In 2018, we founded the organization after our team successfully tracked and captured Tucker, a locally famous feral dog whose story went viral as ‘Tracking Tucker‘, sparking widespread community support and media attention. Inspired by this experience, we recognized the urgent need for a dedicated organization to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome (when possible) these vulnerable animals.

We are a small nonprofit based in Elkhart, serving Northern Indiana, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming lost and feral dogs. Though our tracking dog, Monnaie recently passed away, our new tracking expert is actively training in search and rescue to locate missing pets. Whether it’s a beloved dog lost from home or a wary feral dog evading capture, we work tirelessly to bring them to safety. Our mission extends beyond rescue: many dogs require extensive veterinary care and patient rehabilitation to rebuild trust. For those yet to find forever homes, we provide compassionate long-term care, preparing them for a brighter future.
