A Remarkable Journey
K-911 used Monnaie – their search and rescue dog – and found my lost dog who was gone for days and stuck in mud.
Harley was adopted!
Harley was at a shelter, on a euthanize list, but we pulled him and brought him home and now he is adopted and living the good life in his forever home!
Bella the Chihuahua
Bella the Chihuahua was running the streets of Mishawaka for 3 weeks, and was finally rescued but had suffered a broken right leg. She is safe with her foster family, but still hopeful to find her forever loving home!

On the Run Over 48 Hours
We were completely heartbroken with the sudden illness of my mother-in-law and we were asked to find a good home for him as he needed a very specific placement. We didn’t feel at the time our home was best suited for him. We researched and asked for references when we found someone but after an hour of him being there he slipped out of his collar and was on the run over 48 hours. Tracking Tucker (K-911 Lost & Feral Dog Rescue, Inc.) jumped in almost immediately to set a trap, cameras, and smelly food where he had been returning. I was in constant contact with Nancy and she was sending me updates through pictures and messages. I told her we felt like we had failed my mother-in-law on one of her last wishes was to keep her dog safe and taken care of. Nancy knew our desire and did everything to get him safely where he needed to be which is in our home. I have the confidence and believe we have the patience he needs to integrate into our home! Nancy has still been reaching out to ask how he is doing and if she can do anything to help us further! So extremely blessed and thankful for Nancy and her team!

SSR rescued a dog, unknowingly pregnant with 9 puppies, and K-911 reached out and wanted to help. It’s great to see other rescues helping and supporting each other. K-911 is professional and great to work with! |
